Contacting the Band

Maybe you want to hire us for a show in front of 30,000 screaming fans. Perhaps you think we'd fit well in your 300-seat venue. Perchance you'd like to offer us some suggestion on how we can do better. All that and more can be found here.

Important Information for Tapers and Traders

Life After Failing strongly believes in sharing the joy of live performances. We fully support tapers who wish to record our shows and make them available to others via whatever means (CD, tape, digital distribution, e.g., BitTorrent, FTP). Because of this, we feel it is necessary right from the very beginning to have an official statement regarding the band's legal standing on taping and trading:

Audience recordings of Life After Failing live performances are allowed for non-commercial purposes only. We expect tapers to be respectful of other showgoers by being as unobtrusive as possible. Life After Failing will not make soundboard patches available. All copyrights for audience-made audio- and video recordings are reserved by Life After Failing and any commercial use of said recordings is absolutely forbidden. Live recordings may be traded freely on a strictly not-for-profit basis. Some venues may forbid live recordings and, unfortunately in these cases, we must abide by their wishes.

Video taping is allowed at Life After Failing performances. If you are a videographer who has captured a Life After Failing show, we'd be honoured to have you share your recording with us. We might even put it up on our site for free download to other fans, giving you due credit, of course.

Flash photography is not allowed. We feel that flashes are disruptive to the show's atmosphere and would prefer that you use available stage lighting for any photographs you take. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. As with sharing video with the band, if you feel that you've taken some great photos of the band and would like to share them with us, please do. Anything you share that gets posted on our site will be duly credited.

Finally, please support the artists whose material you tape and trade by purchasing the merchandise they're selling to help keep 'em in guitar picks, drum heads and fresh strings. Coming to our shows and buying our stuff helps us keep on keeping on, and we thank you for any help you can give.

Thank you for your support.
